Hey —
This week had range.
I rebuilt an old company name into a real product in 48 hours, missed a Product Hunt deadline by exactly 60 seconds, went on a Moroccan darija podcast to talk migration, parenthood, religion and spirituality, AI, ego, and survival, and quietly built the production pipeline for a new long-form video format.
So this one is half dispatch, half field report.
1. 48 Hours, 60 Seconds

ZAIGOOD used to be a real Delaware C-Corp I owned from 2020 to 2024. Before that, it was also an older experimental venture-studio name — a container for ideas, prototypes, and false starts.
This week I rebuilt it in 48 hours with Forgeloop.
Now it’s live as a compliance and entity-intelligence layer for founders and agents: health checks, compliance calendar, compare, map, contract review, and the early shape of a real operating system for legal/compliance infrastructure.
I tried to cram it into the Product Hunt / YC launch window and missed the deadline by exactly 60 seconds. The miss is part of the story now.

2. Kass Atay Podcast with Slimane Akalie
I also went on Slimane Akalie’s podcast for a long conversation in Moroccan darija.
We covered:
- giving vs extracting
- leaving Morocco and the cost of migration
- the technical and bureaucratic constraints that push people out
- parenthood and how it shifts the center of gravity from “I” to “the other”
- religion and spirituality
- AI, orchestration, and making yourself obsolete on purpose
- ego, blind spots, and the value of people who act as mirrors
- the difference between giving advice and sharing returns on experience
A lot of my writing starts in English and lands in systems language. This conversation came from a different place. More personal, more cultural, more rooted.
3. The Eclipse Filter
A new format is coming.
I posted a teaser this week:
new format. different rabbit hole. next new moon 🌑
The premise is simple enough to sound like trivia and strange enough to refuse to stay trivia:
Earth gets the kind of eclipse it gets because the Moon is about 400 times smaller than the Sun and also about 400 times closer.
That near-match is temporary. It is not a permanent law of nature. And once you stare at it long enough, the question shifts. It stops being “can a moon cover a star?” and becomes something weirder:
What if Earth’s near-perfect eclipse geometry is not just a visual coincidence, but the visible residue of deeper life-friendly dynamics?
That’s the rabbit hole.
The essay is moving toward celestial mechanics, tides, habitability, scientific discovery, and whether totality is less a cause than a clue.
More on the next new moon.
Weekly wrap
Shipped (amongst other things)
- ZAIGOOD post + live product
- podcast conversation with Slimane
- first teaser for the new video-essay format
Built behind the scenes
- the production stack for The Eclipse Filter
- a real video pipeline: NASA asset pulls, AI video generation, motion graphics, VO-first editing
Learned
- fake deadlines still work on the psyche even when you know they’re fake
- the loop is no longer the bottleneck; direction is
- the strongest stories usually come from older scar tissue
Noticed
- becoming a father keeps quietly rewriting the frame underneath everything else
- “returns on experience” is a better mode than advice
- some ideas only become real once they hit a deadline, even a stupid one
Next
- finish and ship The Eclipse Filter
- keep pushing ZAIGOOD from experiment toward... whatever it wants to become.
- keep tightening the video lane until it feels native

The easiest way to support the work is to forward it to someone who needs the signal. The second easiest is a quick note telling me what resonated.
